    Any suggestions on how to create a thermal imaging look in Motion that would be similiar to the effect they used in the Jay-Z Music Video. If you go to timecode 2:17 you will see what I am talking about.

    Heya,

    To get the specific look shown in that video, you need to do a few steps. They didn’t apply the thermal look to the whole scene, which would have been too disorienting. They color-graded the shot to look like a nightvision camera

    Digieffects Delirium Plug-in package contains an effect called Thermograph, which is similar to what you might be after, and though a harder edged effect than in the Jay Z vid, it actually looks more like real thermal images visuals.

    Having said that Digieffects plug ins are made for After Effects rather than being native to Motion so either run very slowly or not at all.
