  • There’s no collapse transformation option in my precomp

    Hi all,

I’ve got a few layers that I’ve precomped and I’ve changed the blending mode to screen.

Naturally I want this to come through to the precomp.

Now, I’ve turned on the collapse transformation icon on my precomp, but when I got to do the same to the layers inside of the precomp, I don’t have a collapse transformation option on the layers.

Is there a ‘make work’ option that I’ve accidentally disabled?

I’m stumped and this has stopped me in my tracks. Can anyone help me?

Try pressing F4(or Alt+f4) to toggle the modes/switches option.

There is no “collapse transformations” switch for layers. (Vector layers have a “continuously rasterize” switch in the same location, but that’s a different function.)

Enabling “collapse transformations” for the comp’s layer in the main comp should be all you need to do.
