  The Thin Green Line

  Hi Folks,

  I’ve just discovered an odd problem with the DV output on my Media 100i. At the very top of the frame the first line of pixels is green. It was pointed out to me by a client (!) and after checking tapes going back several years, looks like an issue that’s been with me for a while.

  At first I thought it was the deck I was using, but after trying 3 decks I’m confident the issue is with the firewire output (no probs with SDI or analogue).

  Has anyone else experienced this problem?
