The Apple store is still down, but if you click on “Mac”, they have the new MBPs featured, but same ole MacPro page.

You’ll also notice that they reference the changes to the “rest of the MBP line” which they detail as the 13 and 15 inch.

Apple Store is back, it has a “new” badge over the MacPro, but nothing has changed spec wise.

Odd. They are seriously just f*cking with us at this point.

Well, it’s out. ……… and all I believe they added is a 3.2Ghz Quad Core server.

Seriously…… you must be kidding. Same box. Same everything I believe. Someone closer to this please fill me in but I believe ALL they did was add a server configuration.

It seems to me, Apple is saying you can (or soon will be able to) do it all on a Mac Book Pro. Gone will be the days you need a desk top computer with a big tower and lots of drives and storage space; everything is getting smaller and faster. And, cloud technology is the future. Who knows…maybe they’re right.

So maybe the HP guy I talked about last week did in fact know something when he said he expected a lot more business after 6/11.

I told you he believed in the product, and was having fun with it.

    Whoa, pardner.

    It’s still not dead.

I hate to keep asking, but why haven’t they killed it?

Why not just kill it? Run me over? Stick a fork in me?
