Does anyone have an easy audio filter method for creating the sound of someone’s thoughts as we see them watching someone else? You know, the thought bubble/VO? I’ve messed around a bit but nothing is exactly what I want. Hope this makes sense.

    Add the Reverb Filter.
The talent needs to read the Voice-Over in a “whisper”.

You could alsoe xport as an AIFF, then experiment with the Space Designer effect or the Reverb filters in Soundtrack Pro. They are pretty good…more user friendly than the FCP audio filters once you get the hang of it.

Thanks! I’ll try the Soundtrack Pro filters. I have already recorded the VO, so the whisper plan is not possible…. Should have thought of that ahead of time.

I wouldn’t worry about it. Zach Braff on ‘Scrubs’ seems to do almost half of his lines in “voiceover” mode and I don’t think he ever whispers. Seems to work out fine for them!
