    “the software that is used to decode this media is not available on this system. Installing the correct the problem.”

    I get this error message when trying to add an .avi file as an asset in Encore. Does anyone know how to go about fixing this?

    Find out what codec was used for the AVI. Download G-spot, open the AVI, and then get that codec.
