Hello i wanted your opinions on this. Im 13 years old and Im very much into film and editing i’ve got 1180 Pounds to spend on a decent hd camcorder and a tripod.

Now i wanted to film sport with this and make fairly good films. I originally had a idea about saving up for the Panasonic Hmc150 and have being but it may take me a year or so to get 2300 Quid.

Now i wanted this camcorder because i thought consumer camecorders like the hfs100 are designed for cheapness and spending a grand more would work out in the long run because canon would bring out better colour processing in the camcorders and more features that would simply be already their in the HMC150 and i would end up selling it. I can get the hfs100 for 600 quid and wondered is this a good camera? and will it last me and do a good job for making movies ect.

    Thanks
