My concern with FCPX is on CO.2 emissions.

[shawn Bockoven] “Where can I order the transcript?”

It’s an old engineer’s joke. There is a transcript here, though different iterations deviate slightly from the original.

    I like this one.

You know, if they had kept the ending as crisp as the beginning, and instead of using words like “dingle arm,” and killing the joke at the end, they could completely have pulled this off. Twenty seconds shorter would have helped too. It’s funnier when you don’t oversell.

The actor is priceless, though. That’s what I’m talking about – he never let anything on until the script tipped his hand in the last two sentences.

    Still, great find, DRW.

I’m going to use this at a staff meeting or conference.

You can hire him! Also, dig his URL.

I’ve always enjoyed that one. I also really like the updated version… I think the hand motions really help sell it.

Do you think FCP X will ever have a “Milford trunnions” filter?

I think I’ll opt for the transverse dingle arm. I still have to wait for a new machine anyway – at least there’s hackintosh. 😉

The tech diagnostic at the end is a hoot as well!
