The MI Ultrabook?
I just recently ordered some mi ultrabooks for me, they all are intel i5 and 16gb ram, although I am thinking could they even run resolve. What do you think, could it run or not with a external TV display connected to it?

I would be shocked if they did.
And for IO (ext tv) not sure what ports are on those.

I agree with Eric. You’re underpowered for Resolve. Resolve System Requirements.

Ok. I will cancel the i5s and order the i7s, they support davinci for HD. And I already have a workstation for studio work. I just want davinci to run on my laptop for travel videos.

Any chance you can test one at a store?
Ask to download the free version.I can see it working for basic editing but once you start adding nodes…yea who knows?

No chance, MI stores nearby are closed, I can only order and wait for a week to see if they work with DaVinci.
But anyways, I only need DaVinci for very basic HD edits in it.
