  The importer reported a generic error

  Hi

  I’m using PPro 5.5.2 on a PC, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

  I created a project in PPro 5.5.2 that I then output as a Final Cut XML file. The XML file has 3 or 4 timelines in it and multiple clips in ProRes 4444 Quick Time.

  I wanted to test the XML to see how it would show up when I re-imported it. But when I do, I get the error message “The importer reported a generic error”. The file looks like it loads completely, and it’s only when it’s completely loaded that the error message shows up.

  The error message is unhelpful as I have no clue where the issue lies. My system has no problem importing or viewing ProRes 4444 Quick Time files.
