The DVD won’t come out…
Hi there, I feel particularly silly posting this question, but I have tried absolutely everything I can think of. I was burning a DVD in my G5 with Toast 6 and the burning failed. Since then the G5 won’t recognise the DVD is still in there, even though it spins around, and no amount of pressing the eject button will make it come out. I even tried restart with the ‘E’ key pressed. Any thoughts?

Try restarting while holding down the mouse (or left mouse button if it has two buttons).

If that doesn’t work, try plugging in the stock Apple mouse and trying again.
