I’m trying to simulate what it would look like to be looking from above at dominoes falling….

I spent a good couple hours trying to accomplish it, and came up with something that is in the right direction, but I can’t help but think there’s an easier way.

What I did was using a mask, have it morph to look like a domino from above to a domino shape falling. Looked pretty decent. I’m not so concerned about actually having white dots on the dominoes. Then, I imported a motion path and pasted it onto the position property and oriented the solid along the path. I did this as a trick to give myself a guide for positioning all the dominoes along the path. I then duplicated the solid many times and skipped along un-doing the motion path on all the layers to lock them in each dominoes correct position at the right angle (oriented to path).

But after I did all that which took longer than it may sound, I wasn’t totally pleased with my spacing and size of domino and other things, but to fix it at that point was incredibly arduous.

So, anyone think they have a faster solution?

    Thanks in advance.
