Sometimes I get this error message when I do insert edit on our digi. Using latest fcp with a 2×2 G5 and xsan.

Anyone else got this ? Is there an easy way around this bug ?

I’ve seen this happen on 2 of my systems running Cinewave. My solution has been to set a longer duration, or copy the time line to a new one and try it from there.

This happen when you have to pick up mult inserts. The only way around it is to change duration (often drasticlly in both directions) or as we do, copy into a new seq from that timecode forward. Ya big bug, just like the 24p to 30 outputs were you have to calculate the frame differences otherwise it will stop recording early. Pain for inserts:(

really annoying. It will evetually work after making new in and out points, but it would be great to know that the decklink guys are working on the problem.. or maybe its not a decklink problem at all ?? Maybe it’s fcp acting up ?
