Ok, starting to come up to sppeeeed>>> all waking hours spent on AftFx.

The project I am describing here has evolved since 1987. Hooray for Pentium 4 and the Gigabites that goes through it, cool it with a fan. Amiga, though I loved it, would take till the end of time to do what can be done now.

The entire original content of my production is composed of PSD digital images and text. Text that will be created in AfterEfects 6.5 pro. There is sound a track, that is currently individual pieces edited in Audition.

There will be 11 individual composited animations, or what ever one may call them, completed in After Effects. Along with entro title and end title the 11 pieces will make up a DVD with sound track. These 11 animative composites, or such, will be the a genesis, spawned from original artwork.

The big question is: Should I compile everything in AF 6.5 pro and go to Encore with it— or is there a place for Premier 1.5 in the project. All interpretation of original material will be created in after effects.

Your help will be greatly appreaiated.
Don’t be shy to wax poetic. Expound…
You can really help in an important decision.

    I truly just say Thanks,

    Howdy-

It all depends on personal preference, basically. IMO, I would do the text in Photoshop, and place those into Premier rather than After Effects. Reason being is it is 10 times easier to manipulate transitions, gain, and other attributes quickly in Premier than After Effects. For your animations, definitely use AE. My reccomendation would be to use Premier more for the project, unless you feel more comfortable in After Effects….

    Just my 2 cents….

    Cheers!
