The book Craft of Editing book media offline
I have lessons on a dvd that came with the book for Final cut pro, I have final cut express and the lessons show up on the browser with a red line, i click to re-connect and nothing happens, I even try quicktime to see if I could do something with it, and nothing.
I know there is a way to do this, a download, a conversion of files or some hack.Please help I’m desperate.

Like I already said in your other post when you asked the exact same question.
Final Cut Express is EXTREMLY limited on what formats of video it will work with. The files from that book are not supported by FCE. Because you cannot even play the files that tells me they are in a codec that gets I stalled with FCP. To even convert them on your machine you would need FCP, and of cource if you had FCP ok your machine there would not be a reason for this question.
I honestly recomend ether getting a training book about FCE or getting FCP.
There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.

Nope, they’re in a format that is not supported in Express. I believe Zane has already answered your question a few times.
