  • The ‘1’ Key is now rotating the image?

Posted by Lars Wikstrom on November 12, 2006 at 6:09 am

I don’t know if this is a bug or some feature that got activated or deactivated but the 1 key whicj I used to move the window up, down, left, right now acts like the rotate button key 3? The number 2 key still zooms in and out but 1 and 3 act the same by rotating. Even when I am in the window using the tools to move, zoom and rotate the move tool (the one that looks like the plus sign with 4 arrows) now roates the image like the rotate tool?

I have alot of time in on this model and it is very hard to keep workign with it when it is doing this.

Is it a bug or lame feature?

    thanks,

    -Lars

Never mind. I found the problem and it is I that am lame (newbee) For some reason a camera in the scene got turned on. When I shut it off I got control back.

    Sorry.

Or you can control the camera the intuite way like you can in Maya. Hold the (mac) option or (PC) Alt key then use a 3 button mouse to zoom, track, orbit. But under prefs you may want to check the ‘reverse orbit’ which seems more natural.
