That’s all folks… fade out
Hey guys, I am still learning on Premiere pro, and need to do a ellipse fade out where the circle ends on a character like the classic cartoon endings. How do I do this? can’t find a circle/elipse mask out tool…

Video Transitions > Iris > Round
Then hit the REVERSE button. Just tried it to be sure, works perfect.

Altough the round iris transition works perfectly there is a circle effect in Premiere. It has some more controles.

Thanks Ann, did not know that! I’m been a Matrox user for as long as I’ve used Premiere, and they’ve always had all their own effects plug-ins so I never became familiar with everything Adobe had to offer natively, I was using the Matrox RT effects.
