    Hello All,

Kathlyn & I, along with Tim Wilson, wish to give a tip of the cow hat and a wiggle of the ole cow ears to Jerry Hofmann, whom we dearly love and will miss here as a leader in the COW’s FCP forum.

With his busy schedule over the last couple of years or so — working at the Denver Film School where he teaches, working on the aliens television shows that he has been producing, as well as many other projects on his plate — his incredibly busy schedule has given him less and less time to participate in the COW.

We want to recognize Jerry for the great contribution that he made to this community over the years and we wish him well in all his many projects.

Jerry, it has been a true honor to work with you and to know you. You are one of the true shining lights in the world of Final Cut.

Words can’t express the amount of thanks I owe Jerry for all his help through the years. I’m privileged to call him a friend and wish him well with all that he does moving forward.

I learned FCP by reading posts from Jerry (and Tom Wolsky) over the years. I owe all the technical knowledge I know…to him (and Tom).

    Thanks Jerry!

I was under the impression that no one ever got paroled. Good for you Jerry!

In any case, it was nice serving time with you…

Would have been a honor to have a picture of my self with Jerry in the top of this page but the web-master have been very fast (I still can do it with Photoshop).
I inherit his place. I wish I could inherit also a bit of his expertise and knowledge and most of all a bit of his savoir-faire and good manners with which he knows to treat people.

So Rafael, you have some pretty big shoes to fill if you’re taking Jerry’s place! You’re off to a good start though!

Jerry, you’ll be missed! It’s been a pleasure having you around the forum. I’ll try to keep in touch. I really do want to see your latest doc that you’ve been working on, so try to let me know more when you can.

Oh, and I still want to see that picture you took with your iphone.

    Here, Here!!!

I, too, have learned lots from the “pro” himself… I want to wish you all the luck that the world has to offer you, Jerry.

You will be missed and very much appreciated.
