Just got a new Mac at work with the latest versions of everything, and the IT guys don’t know anything about Macs, and the people we bought the computer from are off-site and are different from the guys who we bought the decks from. So when I’ve had a problem, it’s been absolutely crazy trying to coordinate between three different people because I hear from IT, “oh, we can’t do anything about that, ask company A.” And then company A tells me to call company B, and company B has no clue what I’m talking about. I am starting to think that none of them know what’s going on.
But you guys do! And I’ve been able to fix most of my problems just by searching the archives here, so luckily only one or two things I’ve had to call someone in.
And it turns out that yes, THEY forgot to install something, despite telling me “you’re wrong, that’s already installed!” Or they didn’t realize I needed that, or something on my switcher is broken and THAT’s why something else didn’t work.
So thank you. CreativeCow has been an invaluable resource and has prevented me from beating my head against the wall multiple times now.
