I have a bunch of TGA files that I want to make a animation from. How do I get the files to form a step formation on the time line?

    Thanks

Are your TGA files a sequence? As in each TGA is a single frame of the animation. If so, when you import the files, choose only the first file (this is assuming they’re numbered sequentially), then check the numbered Sequence box at the bottom of the Import dialog. AE will them import the footage as a single movie file.

If that’s not your goal, use Animation > Keyframe Assistant > Sequence Layers. I think it’s only in AE Pro.
