    Hello everybody,

I am having a hard time getting the texture right for a watch face. I am trying to get this faint brushed metal look, brushed from the center of the face to the outside (see attached pic). Could I do this with a bump map, or with a projection mapping? Also, when the glass is rendered, it makes the face texture look bumpy… I hope someone knows what the hell Im trying to explain…

    Thanks in Advance,

    Simon

You could use a 2d radial gradient in the bump or roughness, for vanilla renderers, different if using octane or reshift etc. Is this image your render or ref image? For the glass, is it single poly thickness or does it have actual thickness? By bumpy do you mean warped or is the surface inconsistent?
