    Hey Guys,

    Simple question on Symmetry:

I loft-nurbed an amorphous body, used the Symmetry object and the shape perfectly welds itself together, seamless.
But wen I now apply a texture -as simple as just a color w/ a small specular highlight- the seam is clearly visible.
Under spotlight, it looks like two different shades of the color.

Checked on and off “Weld Points”, played with Tolerance levels – no change.

    Anybody had this problem before?

    Any help MUCH appreciated,

    cheers,

    Caspar

If you have not made the symmetry object editable the welding will only place the points over each other. If the object is editable then you have a single mesh and texture should be good to go.
