How do you morph from one texture on the same object to another texture? example: I want an old rusty can to fade from an old relic label into new and flashy label.

Second question: I want to have text or any object change or intensity during the animation. I saw a computer dash board which lit up and each of the numbers would got from dark to bright and then dark again. I know this is easily done in After Effects or Motion but I want to do it in C4d.

    Thanks for your help.

    1) Put both textures on the the can and animate the alpha channel on the top texture.

    2) You can adjust the brightness in the texture by key framing the color or the luminance. You could also have a light that is limited to just that object and animate that intensity.

You set key frames for these by control clicking the little circle next to the attribute you what you want to adjust.

    1) you could also put on one texture and animate the Material slot in the texture tag
