Haven’t used Invigorator in a while and I’m running into an issue with texture mapping.

I have an image of Florida, and I need to zoom in fairly close, at which point the outline of a county draws on. If I open the Florida vector file (512×548 pixels) in Photoshop and use it as a texture map, it ends up getting scaled and looking very soft.

If I use a much bigger file, Invigorator scales it way down, and then when I zoom in it gets soft again. I thought I could get around this by using the Stroke effect and stroking a mask, but no luck.

    Any advice?

    Hi,

First, your texture map must have the same aspect ratio then your object.
Second, create your map at the maximal resolution.

For example if your object aspect ratio is 2:1, create a map that is 4000 x 2000.
Keep in mind that the maximal resolution a map can have in order to work with Invigorator is 4000 x 4000.

    Salut.
    Serge
