    Hi!

This is my first post here and still learning C4D. I’m trying to make a star shape that grows along a spline using sweep nurbs and animating the end growth parameter. That part was easy. The problem is that I want the star cap to have a diferent texture than the extruded part of the sweep. I managed to do it by converting the sweep nurbs to an editable object, but then I loose the abillity to animate the end growth parameter… Any ideas on how to do it?

    Thanks!

there are default names for the caps and roundings/fillets.
Apply the material you want for the cap on the sweep and in the Selection text box of the material’s Tag put C1, C2, R1, R2. Only one of them at a time… C1 and C2 are for the caps and the R’s for the roundings if they’re on.
