    hei,

i’m looking for advice to construct a form of “textscape” or textual landscape in adobe after effects cc, on one channel/screen. i’d like it to be “moving” or in “motion” in a “geological” form/mass of landscape. ill add references below.

does anybody have any good tutorials to create a similar structure of text?

I think there are a few methods that could get you those results. For plugins, Trapcode Form, and Mettle Shapeshifter both could produce those results.

If you want to stay within AE, I you would want to precomp some type white/black map and then use the distort – displacement map effect, maybe in combination with some other of the distort effects(bezier warp, mesh warp, bulge).

FreeForm Pro would be perfect for this.

Very easy to pull this effect off and very fast to render. See: https://www.mettle.com/product/freeform-pro/

Come to think of it, I will add this to my list of tutorials for FreeForm pro. Thanks, great idea for a use of FreeForm Pro 🙂

Yeah, that’s what I meant, Freeform Pro, not shapeshifter.
