Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy Text wrapping?

Is there a way to automatically have text wrap when using the Scrolling Text function? I have paragraphs that I need to scroll on screen, but when I type them in, it’s just one continuous line of text — so the bulk of it is off screen. If I go in a manually insert paragraphs at the end of each line, it’s fine, all the text appears on-screen. But there must be an easier way???

Also does anyone have any font suggestions, as far as easy to read? White text on blk background, vice versa?

    Thanks!

    April,
You should have Title Crawl in your generators menu, so use that….don’t use Scrolling Text. Scrolling Text is so_uh, 5 years ago. Title Crawl will allow you to adjust wrapping.

I really don’t recommend to use the legacy title generators anymore, they are bit map based while Title Crawl, Title 3D and LiveType are all vector based.

If you don’t see Title Crawl, it’s possible you didn’t install it to begin with. It’s in the Extras folder of the install disk.

Also, be sure to check your graphics on a video monitor, not the Canvas.
