    Hey all,

So I’m back to a project I started a couple months ago and got stuck on. I’m going after an effect where I have my 3D text “transform” into another word…a la the Transformers title effect scene here

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuMKsFb_aMw

I just having issues getting there. I understand there’s probably quite a bit of rigging that went into the ILM version and I don’t need to be that picky.

I’ve approached both with Mograph per some good advice from Adam T, as well as PBlurb, but just not getting the right look. Basically, I’d settle for the text being cut into chunks and those sections rotating and transforming into the next word (preferably each letter transforming into the one that takes it’s place in that space, not having chuncks flying all around the screen)

With using a matrix cloner and inheritance effector in mograph, the transition between words is a bit “disconnected” (i.e. polygons flying everywhere) and the second word illegible as the polygons just sort of take the generic shape of the word, they don’t actually do any sort of “morphing” into it.

PBlurb also just has too much detached motion for what I’m after and fragments up the polygons too much.

I know Mograph has the ability to drive Thinking Particles…is there anyway to combine the control of mograph with the morphing capability of PBlurb? Or is there a better suggestion?

Thanks so much everyone, sorry for the long post!
