Text Tool: Title Crawl
I have to run titles on the bottom of the screen (from left to right / hebrew).
Unfortunately, it runs a bit staccato, not so smooth, which makes it hard to read.
Any other Generator to get a better result in FCP, or a tip, how to smoothen the Crawl Title Generator?Thanx.

I haven’t use a crawl since ages, but I would try the FCs “Boris Crawl”.

yes, you have it, or you should have it because comes bundle with FC since I can remember.
Look in the text tools; you should have a Boris folde.

And amazing enough: It even has a direction change for Hebrew!!!!! 🙂Thanx a Lot!

I still havve the problem, that despite all the fancy options – the text is quiet unreadable.

Is it rendered? Do you have a green line or orange?
What are the sequence settings?

Yes, it is rendered. The Sequence Settings are Full HD size (1920*1080), ProResHQ.

Yes, it is 25fps Progressive. ProResHQ Codec.

p25 will makes any animation more choppy than i50 or p50. I guess that a fast Crawl may look very jumpy.
But not sure if that is the problem when you say that the picture is unreadable.
The Boris filter has a “De-flicker” filter, but that should works for rolling text.
I would try something like applying some (.5) Horixontal Blur to the text.
Without having a look is difficult to imagine the real issue.
