My text raises slightly turns -104 degrees on the y axis and streaks into the background scaling smaller and losing opacity. I would like it to have a light streak trail to express velocity. This can be streaks or maybe particles. What effect could I use for this. and a little how to.

    Thanks
    joe

This is pretty basic but looks good. I used cc light burst 2.5 effect.
My text “Star Base” I made a new text layer and just typed “l”. I applied the effect to this layer. Background black. I put the center at the vanishing point where the text was moving to. And i put the “l” at the very end of the text line and parented “l” to the text “STAR BASE” After you parent it you have to move it into correct position again, no key frames necessary.
So after the text makes it’s turn toward the distant background 2 frames after it starts shooting towards the distant reaches of space the “l” layer becomes visible, just the streak effect not the letter “l”, a streak the same pixels height as my “STAR BASE” and it looks like a rocket that just turned on the after burners.
