    Hello,

I’m trying to do a text animation where the text “ake” in “Take5 Digital” slides away and the word compresses, then “.com” slides out of the right side to eventually read “T5Digital.com”

I’ve tried using text animation / range selector but can’t figure it out. A point in the right direction would be appreciated!

i don’t think I’d try this with text animators, i’d do it the old fashioned way… create text layers for each layer you want control over (“T”, “ake”, “5”, “Digital” and “.com”) range them as needed initially and animated the changes that need to happen to get to the final state.

probably use a track matte to help slide the ‘ake’ out and the ‘.com’ in and i think that should do it.

maybe parent the track matte for the .com to ‘Digital’ so it looks like .com slides out of ‘Digital’ as Digital moves left.

    Thanks Kevin,

That’s what I was thinking, thought there might be another way around it.

    Cheers
