I have “Page 12” created with Boris 3D that is displayed in the lower right corner of the canvas. I copied the text to be shown with the next clip of video placed right after it in the timeline and changed the text to “Page 12b.” The text seems to shift over to the left to compensate for the extra character. Is there a way to prevent this?

You copied a title 3D file and it changed it’s contents all by itself??? Never seen nor heard of that one…

Well, I double-clicked on it and changed it back in the “control” section.

Are you Boris 3d control assigned to be center justified? If so, change them to right to left justified (I would think you would want right justified in your case, but I don’t know). That way the right edge will always stay where you want it. Make sense? You are adding a character so there’s always some spacial adjustment that’s going to happen.

I do not have the file here so I am unable to check right now. I used the default justification that it came with after install. I typed characters for the left side of the canvas and hit space a few times and typed characters for the right side of the canvas.

You will have to adjust the justification to left, right or center. Whatever will work best for you.
