Hi everybody, I´m editing and composting a project for college and some of the footage is about a “home shopping network”.
I wanted to make a crawling text at the bottom and I was wondering if there´s a better way to do it than just keyframing the text position.

Another question, would it be better to make the text in photoshop and then importing it, or directly writing in AE?

    Thanks

I don’t know what could be easier than creating just two keyframes at the beginning and at the end.
There are of-course some other ways, but I don’t find any of them better than just keyframing.

    Regarding writing text:
That depends on the length of the text. If I have some longer text that I want to have as a single crawling line I prefer to write it in any text editor, just to be sure that I don’t make any mistakes. Text editors wrap text automatically so I can easily read it all without having to move it. When I am happy with the content, I simply select all, copy and paste it to the text layer.
What could be the benefit of creating text in Photoshop?
