text ratio query
Hi –
— whenever I setup a new line of text the typeface is extended and I need to adjust the x scale to compensate.
Wondering if theres an independant ratio setting for type that I dont know about somewhere ? — anyone got any ideas please ?

Have you checked your Character settings in the Character window?

—— many thanks !!!! — overlooked the obvious — the AE width setting is at 121% when I open AE — didnt realise that was a possibility …
