Text property keyboard shortcut
Posted by Adam Mercado on March 16, 2007 at 4:11 pmAnyone know what the keyboard shortcut to show only the text propertys of a type layer are? Nothing in the docs about this. You know, like p for position, r for rotation etc…..

March 17, 2007 at 10:01 amIs there a way in AE to assign one? you can do that in most Adobe apps to some extent..not at my workstation either. Would be useful though.

March 17, 2007 at 12:22 pmYou can only assign or re-assign shortcuts to functions that have a handler in the “Adobe After Effects 7.0 Shortcuts” txt-file (it’s located with the prefs)
Unfortunately, something like “Twirl Text Properties” is not mentioned there.

if on a mac just hit command 6 and the character palette will appear in your workspace.
Command 7 will give you the paragraph palette. In Windows its control 6 and 7.Best Regards
