Text pixelated
Posted by Teddyg on March 28, 2007 at 10:53 pmSimple problem? When I add text to an image in FCP and render it, the text becomes pixelated.

March 29, 2007 at 1:28 amIt is essential when attempting to monitor the QUALITY of images in FCP that you use an external NTSC VIDEO Monitor (or PAL, if that’s where you are).
Especially after you render…
the Canvas is never high-quality (by design) and should not be used to make determinations of image quality of clips or graphics.Video Processing tab.
“Normal” is default for all Sequences.
Change this to “Best” and text should clean up. -

March 29, 2007 at 6:53 pmThat’s not the same. You mus see it on a video monitor, at video resolution in video color space.
