    Text or Image animation – NEED SOME HELP!!

    I’ve just purchased Vegas 6 so i haven’t mastered all the tools yet so please bare with me.

    Can some one please give me tips on how to make an image or text, “fly towards the Screen”?? I can’t seem to locate any media/Video effect that has that capability in Vegas.

    Try Pan/Crop. It’s one of the buttons on the right edge of each video/generated media event.

    I don’t see anything in the Pan/Corp menu screen that allows that specific effect.

    I want the .tiff image to seem as if it is “coming towards the viewer”… in other words the image starts small and gradually gets bigger… is that possible with vegas?

    Opening Pan /Crop and making the frame smaller means you have zoomed in. Play with it and watch Preview.

    To do it over time, use a keyframe at the point you wish to arrive at the fully zoomed in state. This will animate from Unzoomed to Zoomed.

    There is much more this tool can do, but start with that and see how you go.
