Text on a moving background?

You need a plug-in that does match moving. Boris FX Continuum Complete 7 (BCC7) has a Match Move plug-in. I show you how to use it in this Creative COW podcast / Boris TV video:

Alternately, you would have to keyframe the motion using Pan/Crop or Track Motion in Vegas. It would be very time consuming but it is possible.

You can export the section as a series of images, bring them into Photoshop, paste the required text on each still, save them and bring it back into Vegas as an image sequence.
In Charity’s example, 4 seconds is only 120 frames so, as long as it’s only one piece of text, it shouldn’t take too long to do.

I would think that keyframing would be much faster then exporting to Photoshop and editing every picture.

But to answer Daniel’s question; if you expect the text to move, you need to tell it how to move. There is no getting around that. Either motion tracking, keyframing, or editing every frame in Photoshop, you have to do some work to get the text to move.
