Text on a 3D plane with Interactivity.
Hi, I have been trying to figure out a couple things and progress is slow. I want to create something similar to this website.

How would someone go about creating this?
Was it created in After Effects or Flash or something else?
Ideally I would like to learn how to create this with all the interactivity, otherwise I would settle for the illusion of this.
Zooming through layers of text and clicking on one to display information. Akin to something like this: https://blogs.adobe.com/keyframes/2007/10/creating_interactive_video_wit.html

Just so you know, After Effects does not produce interactive content.
You can look, but you can’t touch.
