    I don’t think there is any camera move at all. The type art looks all more or less like being pre-composed using 3D layers, but then those comps are only used as 2D layers to pan across them. there is no change in perspective at all when something moves and those crash-zooms woulkd be much easier to control, too.

    Actually, on this showreel, on the “FREE Love” Spot (about 3/4 of the way through), does anyone know how to achieve the effect they have created with the 3D solid animation of the text? (where the z-depth of the F and R animates out and then as the letters move the z-depth shrinks back to flat)

    Or is this the same question you were asking?!?

    It’s just that I often get asked to add some 3D depth to text in AFX or P.Shop and there’s no easy workaround I’ve found, so I’ve started using Illustrator’s 3D extrude…but it’s hardly an easy workflow! And you can’t animate it.

    Any ideas REALLY appreciated.
