Text – font selection not working?
I’ll be quick – the font selector in the Text generator has stopped working….everything else works fine, but i cannot change fonts. I could last week but not anymore.
I have checked that Livetype is still seeing my fonts, and it is.
The only change to my system recently has been an update to the latest Kona 3 driver (which also lost all my previous FCP settings !).
I know Text is a bit limited, but for labelling clocks its perfect….or was!
Any ideas how to cure this weird little problem?

i was hoping to avoid that – i had to do it last week after updating the kona driver, and it took ages to remember all my settings!!

I’ve been like that for few months with the FC 5.0.4. I had acces only to the Lucida Grande.
Only when I up-dated to the 5.1.2, i started to be able to chage font.

thats the font!!
only trouble is i’m on 5.1.4, and it worked until this week.
Maybe this is a goo excuse to ask the boss for the new FCPStudio 2 !!

now this is getting weird….after trying for ages all day with no luck, its just started working again. And i hven’t trashed anything either.!!
oh well, problem solved.
