    Hi,
    I would like to know how to fill Boris generated text with video and animated gradient.
    Using Boris Red 4 in Media 100 Suite version 1.6.
    I have done it in After Effects but would like to save the extra steps.

    Hi,

    If you nest the text track into the mask track of a video clip it will generate the effect you are looking for. To access the mask track in the video clip, click the triangle next to the video layer which will twirl down the video layer and reveal the sub-layers (mask, transform, face). Then drag the text layer onto the mask layer of the video track.
