Text Effects question

Under Windows, open the Effects & Presets (command 5 on Mac) Then look down for Text. Twirl it down and voila.

Set some text, double-click on an effect and it’s done.

I know how to set basic text, but I am talking about animated text presets. Like is there a livetype feature on 6.5?

You just drag them onto the layer in the timeline or the composition, easy!
