  • Text copied from Word pasted into Photoshop loses its formatting.

I am working in Photoshop CS 6. I have to put Text over a picture. The text was sent to me in a word document. It is about 4 sentences long.

How can I copy the text from Word and Paste it into Photoshop without the text losing format. Overtime I try it, it loses format and the words are on top of each other.

    Thanks in advance

It’s not something I’ve tried myself but I’m not surprised the text is losing it’s formating. I wouldn’t really expect the two formats to be compatible. Maybe get them to send you a pdf.

If you have Word you should be able to save the file as a PDF yourself and bring that into PS.
