  • Text clarity and image movement questions.

    Two questions:

    1. Might have been asked several times but how can I make the text more clear from the text tool? Do I just have to place the coordinates of X and Y on integer values?

    2. Along that, is there a way to directly position text at the centre of the screen or do I have to just guess the coordinates?

    3. I’m trying to make an image move on a white background? How is this possible? I can’t seem to move the image properly without problems…

Bear with me that I’m new to FCP and so baby steps would be greatly appreciated.

You should be using the Boris tolls for this aspect of you work. Click on the icon under the viewer that looks like a film frame with a captital A on it. Boris 3D is the text tool, and there one for creating solid shapes well. Boris 3D makes centering very simple.
