  • text animator question – per character nagging problem

Every time I make a text animator effect, it seems as though the last few characters sort of slide in too quickly. The first few always look pretty great, but the last few sort of naggingly come in at about the same time, yet slower, sort of eased (no it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with ease high or low).

For example: say I’ve got a text animator on for the words “Excellent Dude”, and they’re flying in from the distance in z space. It’s assured that at least the “ude” of the text will come in almost at the same time… just sort of almost chilling in the foreground, waiting it’s turn to move forward a few pixels. What I’d like is for every single character to stay put until the the one before it flies in… none of this flying halfway up the field nonsense before that character’s turn.

I’m positive this can be done, I’ve seen it. Does anyone know the setting I have to play with? I’ve been screwing with this for an unhealthy amount of time now. : )
