    Hi everyone

I wonder how one would go about and do this effect, which is not too rare. I´ll try a description:

You see a line of text or a word come up on screen. then the camera moves in and rotates around, so that it´s (for e.g.) looking at the edge of a letter and you see that on this edge there is another word.
    And so forth.

How would you do that in AE?

    Cheers
    Christian

If I’m reading what you need, parenting is probably the easiest way to accomplish what you are after.

Start with your first line of text and do your move where you rotate 90 degrees and scale it up very large. Now add your next line of text, place it on the edge of the first text and parent it to the first text.

You may need to trim the layer or add a couple of opacity keyframes depending on how much you scaled.

Do a search for tutorials on Kinetic Typography; it’ll give you some more techniques to build on.
