Hello again. My third post. Seems I am becoming a regular.

I try and read and absorb as much as I can before asking for help.

    am noob AE user.
I have looked at many posts here, and have watched all Chad Perkins vids I can find.Looked at Adobe links for text animation as well.
and many many more text animations tuts.
They all seem to harp on opacity, scale and presets.

Anyhow- I need some assist on finding out how to manually position text characters so to keyframe them.Everything I have read and seen so far has not even discussed this.POSITIONING in animate.Or to grab
text and move & stretch it.Cant seem to do it in AE?

What I am after=I want to take a line of text, and have each character
look like this \ / \ / \ and to keyframe it to like they are walking(marching).

I can do this in vegas easily, but this will be 3d text.
just some links or points in right direction would be appreciated.

just cant seem to figure out how to manually position each char, to my liking.have tried even just playing with it.(played with too many apps :-).

Oh BTW got an email from CC regarding Digital Juice-thanks.
    Regards Randal.
