Text Animation Position – All letters starting in the same position
Hi! I want to animate the single letter position of some Text. Now, i know how to animate the position of all letters. What i want to achieve is to have all letters of the words start in the middle of the screen and then animate to their respective position. Is there any way to do this? Maybe with expressions? Any help is greatly appreciated 🙂

Would animating the tracking achieve what you need?
If you wanted to try it, create a text layer in the center of the screen and make the it center justified.
With the text layer selected, choose Animation>Animate Text>Tracking to add a text animator for tracking.
Now you can keyframe that Tracking property to make all the letters in the center of the screen and then move outwards to their final position.

Thanks for the suggestion! I already tried that one. Unfortunately i wanted to animate the characters individually flying in one after another. And that doesn’t work combined with the tracking.
I found another workaround though. I turned on 3d characters and moved the Z position veeeeery far away in the distance. So it actually seems like coming out of the comp center. Combined with scaling up the letters it looks like Letters moving out from the center of the screen. 🙂
