Text Animation in Production
I have a project for a school district that requires basic fade in/out of AE text one word at a time (Grade school vocabulary/phonics drills).
The trick is different groups of letters in each word need to animate in as a separate color, for example:
“ful” in Beautiful, or “tion” in Nation would be a different color and and possibly animate in with a slightly different timing.
What I’m looking for is a production tip or trick to take the drudgery out of slogging through a few hundred of these things. I’ve setup the animations for each letter set and saved those as presets, but it would be great to automate it somehow or map the preses to keyboard shortcuts.
In Photoshop, the database driven graphic feature would be the in the ballpark of what I’m trying to do in AE.
Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks!
